Microsoft Office Outlook provides a useful feature to organize mails into in divided folder, for example, I store the mails from Janne into the folder named “Janne” and from others into the folder named “SD Group 4”, and thus I can recognize who send email to me more quickly when mails arrived.

The following steps describe how to create folder and apply a rule to mail senders.

1. Right click on the mail’s title and click “Create Rule…”

2. Click “Advanced Options…” in the opened dialog.

3. Make sure you have checked some rule conditions

Please make sure you let the “on this machine only” unchecked.

And then click “next”

4. Select the action “move it to the specified folder”

And then, click the URL-liked link “specified”, it will popup a new dialog.

In this dialog, you can create a new folder or select an existed folder to store the mail that sent by the specified account.

Now, you can go to the next step.

5. The goal of this step is setting some exception on the rule, we just skip it.

6. The last step is used to set name of rule, you should make the checkbox on “Run this rule now on messages already in Mailbox” checked, then press “Finished”.
