Paint.Net provides a lot of Photoshop-liked functions, the two software almost have the same GUI, and provide same basic functions, why don’t use the free Paint.Net to replace the expensive Adobe Photoshop. (I have to admit that I prefer to use Adobe Photoshop if there was no limitation. )
The following bullets describe the system requirement of Paint.Net:

or Windows Vista,
or Windows Server (2003 SP1 or later) - .NET Framework 2.0 or newer (.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 recommended)
- 500 MHz processor (Recommended: 800 MHz or faster)
- 256 MB of RAM (Recommended: 512 MB or more)
- 1024 x 768 screen resolution
- 200+ MB hard drive space
- 64-bit support requires a 64-bit CPU that is running a 64-bit version of Windows, and an additional 128 MB of RAM
GIMP may be another good choice for photo editing.
Total Commander? No, I am not going to break the rules, I only use legal software. (I feel not very good now.) Free Commander and xplorer might perform a well replacement for it.
- OOPS, 1TB free web driver? It is true, OOSAH is really providing 1TB free space for you, you may be want to try it now.
- Raw Materials for designer (I am not sure about whether I am a designer, I am definitely a programmer, but one programmer should not be a designer. )
