Here is some materials of Kanban on top of Scrum

http://www.infoq.com/minibooks/kanban-scrum-minibook

http://www.targetprocess.com/blog/category/kanban The software has been downloaded, it is on top of ASP.NET3.5, not so good enough, but the issues in this site are great.

BTW:
Here is some good tools for agile/scrum project management.

VersionOne: http://www.versionone.com/  Commercial software.  VersionOne is the best scrum tools I have used. But unfortunately, it is expensive.

ScrumWorks: http://www.danube.com/scrumworks BASIC version is free, PRO is commercial version. Java Swing GUI and web access, it only supports task board, not good at planning board.

TRICHORD : http://trichord.change-vision.com/ From Japan, totally free, support Kanban. Eclipse RCP GUI, all task items and feature items are treated as one tree node in the left panel, it makes that hard to found out the highlight tasks.

TargetProcess: http://www.targetprocess.com/ Evaluating, it looks good.

IceScrum: http://icescrum.org/ Open source, based on J2EE, the UI is fixed, I tried to change some theme, but failed. The functionalities are copied from VersionOne. Good tool, but not good enough.

Rally: http://www.rallydev.com/ From my point of view, this tool looks strange, it seems that the tool focus on requirements but not on development. the new version supports Kanban.

No comments for the other tools: Conchango templates, XP planner, ZenDao, etc.

BTW: Danube and VersionOne provide a lot of good Scrum/Agile issues.

Peter :

ScrumWorks is easy to use, it's better than using the xml format template.
